Congress Leader Deepender Singh Hooda Launches ‘Haryana Maange Hisaab’ Campaign

Chandigarh (Punjab) [India], July 11: Congress MP Deepender Singh Hooda has announced a new grassroots initiative called ‘Haryana Maange Hisaab’ to be launched on July 15. This campaign aims to highlight the failures of the BJP government and gather public suggestions for the Congress party’s manifesto.

The campaign will involve a door-to-door initiative where a specially curated booklet with 15 critical questions will be distributed to the public. Hooda emphasized the importance of engaging directly with the public and including their demands in the manifesto. He stated, “We will make these questions reach the people through a door-to-door campaign. We will also ask for feedback from people and their expectations from the Congress.”

In another significant development, the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) have announced a coalition to contest the upcoming Haryana assembly elections. Abhay Singh Chautala, Secretary General of INLD, stated, “We have decided to jointly fight the upcoming assembly elections. The common people want to oust the BJP from power and keep the Congress party at bay.”

The Haryana Assembly Elections are scheduled to be held this year, with the tenure of the current Legislative Assembly ending on November 3, 2024.
