Congress Leader Ajoy Kumar Accuses BJP of Violence in Tripura
New Delhi [India], July 16: Congress leader Ajoy Kumar has accused the BJP of ‘state sponsored terrorism’ in Tripura. He criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, stating that the BJP is attacking and killing opponents in Tripura.
Kumar mentioned that in Jammu and Kashmir, terrorists killed four soldiers, while in Tripura, BJP members burned houses and killed people. He called for the dismissal of the Manipur government and BJP members involved in violence.
He also pointed out that a delegation in 2022 was attacked when they went to see the violence in Tripura. Kumar accused the BJP of dividing India for power.
Two days after violence in Tripura’s Dhalai district, authorities reported that 30 to 40 shops and 20 to 25 houses were destroyed. Four people have been arrested, and the situation is now under control, according to Superintendent of Police Dhalai Avinash Rai.
