Concerns Over Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s Health in Jail: AAP Claims Conspiracy

New Delhi [India], July 20: The Lieutenant Governor’s Office has raised concerns about Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s health in jail. A letter to Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar highlighted that Kejriwal has not been consuming his prescribed diet, leading to weight loss. The letter emphasized the need for Kejriwal to adhere to his medical diet and insulin due to his Type-II Diabetes Mellitus.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) responded by questioning the LG’s intentions and alleging a conspiracy. AAP leader Sanjay Singh criticized the LG’s letter, while Delhi Minister Atishi claimed that Kejriwal’s life is at risk due to low sugar levels, which could lead to a coma or brain stroke. Atishi accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of endangering Kejriwal’s life for political reasons.

Additionally, the Delhi High Court has scheduled a hearing for August 7 regarding the Enforcement Directorate’s plea to challenge the bail granted to Kejriwal in the excise policy money laundering case. The court has temporarily stayed the trial court’s order granting bail.
