CM Yogi Adityanath Accuses Akhilesh and Shivpal Yadav of Extortion in Mainpuri Rally

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath accused Samajwadi Party leaders Akhilesh Yadav and Shivpal Yadav of collecting extortion money for government jobs during their rule. Speaking at a rally in Mainpuri, he criticized their governance, alleging lawlessness and lack of development.

CM Yogi said, “Before 2017, every job was sold and its auction was held. Chacha (uncle) and Bhatija (nephew) were equal shareholders of extortion. And when there was more collection, the uncle was pushed aside and the nephew used to take all the share.”

He questioned why Mainpuri, once known as a VVIP district, lagged in development, saying, “It is the land of our Rishis… Why is it struggling for its identity?… These (Samajwadi Party) people disrupted the social structure.”

CM Yogi alleged that lawlessness was in the DNA of the Samajwadi Party and noted that there have been no riots in the state since his government was formed in 2017. He said, “Anarchy and hooliganism are a part of their DNA. Their model is not of development, they loot the development works.”

CM Yogi also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for various development projects at AK Inter College Ground in Barnahal.
