He also mentioned that ten years ago, Prime Minister Narendra Modi proposed the idea of being healthy with Yoga to the United Nations, which was adopted. CM Yadav congratulated PM Modi on this milestone and the launch of the Shri Anna Samvardhan Abhiyan.

CM Yadav emphasized the importance of physical fitness through Yoga and a healthy diet. He highlighted that millets, known as ‘Shri Anna,’ are an ancient food of India, unlike wheat, which is not native to the country.

Additionally, CM Yadav announced the opening of 11 new Ayurvedic colleges in the state to promote Ayurveda and the region’s forest wealth.

Yoga, an ancient practice from India, symbolizes the union of body and consciousness. The International Day of Yoga has been celebrated globally on June 21 since its adoption by the United Nations in 2014. Various Yoga events are being held across the state to mark this day.
