Two people were admitted to Manipal Hospitals Broadway in Kolkata with bullet injuries following clashes in Bhatpara. The injured individuals arrived at the hospital around 11:30 am and are under close observation in the ICU.

BJP leader Priyangu Pandey alleged that members of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) attacked his car with bombs and gunfire. He claimed that around 50-60 people targeted his vehicle, throwing 7-8 bombs and firing 6-7 rounds. Pandey accused the police of being complicit in the attack, stating that his security was withdrawn before the incident.
