New Delhi, October 18: Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud emphasized the global significance of Ayurveda at the AROHA-2024 conference, organized by the All India Institute of Ayurveda. He shared his personal advocacy for Ayurveda, highlighting its role in holistic well-being and natural therapy. During the event, he recounted his recovery from the H1N1 virus using Ayurvedic treatments.

The conference, marking the 8th foundation day of AIIA, focused on “Advancements in Research and Global Opportunities for Holistic Ayurveda.” CJI Chandrachud praised AIIA’s progress in fostering research-based Ayurveda, emphasizing its integration of traditional wisdom with modern science.

Minister Prataprao Jadhav expressed support for the conference, acknowledging Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts in promoting Ayurveda globally. The event featured workshops, scientific sessions, and an exhibition showcasing Ayurvedic innovations.

Shyama Kuruvilla from WHO highlighted India’s leadership in traditional medicine, noting its global impact. The conference included over 400 research papers and collaborations with international institutions, underscoring Ayurveda’s expanding global presence.
