Chirag Paswan Criticizes Rahul Gandhi’s Remarks in Parliament

New Delhi [India], July 2: Union Minister and Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) Chief Chirag Paswan criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his comments against the NDA government in Parliament. Paswan accused Gandhi of playing with religious sentiments and making personal comments towards the Prime Minister.

Paswan stated, “Out of the points raised by the LoP, some of them were not even based on facts. The personal comments made by him towards either the chair or the Prime Minister were unacceptable. He also played with the religious sentiments of people.”

He further criticized Gandhi for waving a picture of Lord Mahadev and placing it beneath papers, calling it intolerable. Paswan also mentioned the influence of the Congress’s alliance with DMK, which he claimed holds controversial views on ‘Sanatana’.

Gandhi’s speech, which included remarks on Hindus, PM Modi, BJP, and RSS, was partially expunged from Parliament records. His comments drew protests from BJP leaders, including PM Modi, who stated, “Calling the entire Hindu community violent is a very serious matter.”

Gandhi defended his remarks, stating that BJP and RSS do not represent the entire Hindu community. Paswan also mentioned the guidance received from PM Modi during the NDA Parliamentary Party meeting, emphasizing the importance of constitutional values and setting a benchmark in Parliament.

PM Modi is expected to reply to the ‘motion of thanks’ on the President’s address in the Lok Sabha later today.
