Chirag Paswan Confident in PM Modi’s Leadership Despite Lalu Yadav’s Claims

Patna (Bihar) [India], July 6: Union Minister and Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) Chief Chirag Paswan has dismissed claims made by former Bihar Chief Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav. Yadav suggested that the NDA government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi could fall by August, leading to new elections.

Paswan assured that the strength of the NDA-led central government under PM Modi’s leadership will be maintained for the next five years. He stated, “Their cadre could not prepare even in 10 years. The result is in front of everyone. They are saying this just to keep their party workers occupied. On behalf of the NDA, I can say that the strength of our government under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi will be maintained for the next five years and many strong and bold decisions will be taken which will be supported by all parties of the NDA.”

Union Minister Nityanand Rai also commented on Yadav’s statements, calling them “daydreaming.” Rai emphasized that the people of Bihar support PM Modi, Nitish Kumar, and the NDA-BJP, and do not want a return to “jungle raj.” He said, “Lalu Prasad Yadav is daydreaming. By making Narendra Modi the Prime Minister for the third time, the people of the country and Bihar have expressed their wish that PM Modi is the true son of India and can take the country forward. The people of Bihar believe in PM Modi, Nitish Kumar, and the NDA-BJP; they do not want jungle raj.”

Lalu Yadav made his remarks during the RJD’s foundation day event, urging party workers to be ready for possible elections. He expressed satisfaction with the party’s performance in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, where the BJP-led NDA won its third successive term, securing 293 seats, with the BJP alone winning 240 seats.
