In Khatima, Uttarakhand, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami laid the foundation stone for the renovation and beautification of the ancient Maa Purnagiri temple in Nagla Tarai village. The project, costing Rs 2.54 crore, aims to enhance the temple’s grandeur and preserve the area’s religious and cultural heritage.

Chief Minister Dhami expressed that this construction will play a significant role in maintaining the cultural legacy of the region. He shared this sentiment on X, emphasizing the importance of the project.

Additionally, on the occasion of Govardhan Puja, CM Dhami extended his wishes to the people, highlighting the festival’s significance in expressing gratitude towards nature, livestock, and farmers. He prayed for happiness and prosperity for everyone.

Before the winter closure of Shri Kedarnath Dham, CM Dhami visited the site, expressing the state government’s commitment to its development under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. He met with saints, devotees, and residents, wishing them well-being and prosperity.

The doors of Shri Kedarnath Dham, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, are scheduled to close for the winter.
