Jamtara (Jharkhand) [India], September 27: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami attended the ‘Parivartan Sabha’ in Kundhit for the Nala Assembly Constituency. Addressing a large crowd, he expressed his admiration for the people of Kundhit and their energy.

Dhami highlighted the shared history and culture of Uttarakhand and Jharkhand, noting the bravery of the tribal society in fighting against the British. He praised former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee for creating the state of Jharkhand and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for enhancing the respect and self-respect of the tribal society. Dhami mentioned that Draupadi Murmu, a member of the tribal society, is now the President of India.

He also spoke about the initiatives taken by Prime Minister Modi, such as declaring the birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda as Janjati Gaurav Diwas and building museums for tribal freedom fighters. Dhami emphasized the various schemes aimed at uplifting the tribal society, including Jan Dhan Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, Ayushman Yojana, and PM Awas Yojana.

Dhami detailed the development work in Jharkhand, including infrastructure projects, new railway stations, and the construction of AIIMS in Deoghar. He mentioned that under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, over one crore people in Jharkhand have received health cards, and 55 lakh houses have been built under the housing scheme. Additionally, 38 lakh families have received free gas cylinders, and 32 lakh families have access to clean water.

He criticized the current Jharkhand government and opposition for corruption and alleged that they are conspiring to change the state’s demography by sheltering infiltrators. Dhami urged the people to support the BJP for better governance and development.
