Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and President Droupadi Murmu Extend Janmashtami Wishes
On the eve of Krishna Janmashtami, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami of Uttarakhand called upon people to take inspiration from the life of Lord Krishna. He encouraged everyone to become partners in the state’s development by promoting love, brotherhood, and harmony in society.
Dhami highlighted that Lord Krishna’s life inspires the entire human race to fight against unrighteousness, injustice, and oppression. He mentioned that the teachings of Lord Krishna, especially those in the Gita, remain relevant today. Dhami also emphasized the importance of selfless work and the welfare of the poor and neglected sections of society.
Earlier, President Droupadi Murmu extended her warm greetings on the auspicious eve of Janmashtami. She wished all citizens and Indians living abroad, noting that the festival inspires people to dedicate themselves to Lord Krishna.
