Earlier, Uttarakhand State Disaster Secretary Vinod Kumar Suman confirmed that at least ten people have died, and multiple routes, including the Kedarnath footpath, have been obstructed. Efforts are being made to clear these paths.

Chief Minister Dhami held a review meeting with officials to assess the situation and instructed rescue teams to remain on high alert. He assured that necessary funds for evacuation, relief, and rehabilitation would be provided immediately.
