Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami of Uttarakhand has given important guidelines to senior officials to tackle waterlogging, cleanliness, and the prevention of diseases like dengue and malaria. This was stated in an official statement from the Chief Minister’s office.

The Chief Minister has instructed all Municipal Commissioners and Executive Officers in the state to visit their respective areas twice a day. They are to conduct on-site inspections to prevent diseases like dengue and malaria and ensure cleanliness during the monsoon season.

CM Dhami emphasized that officers should ensure that waterlogging does not occur after rains. He urged concerned departments to coordinate and make necessary arrangements. He also highlighted that the government is actively working on the ground to maintain cleanliness and prevent diseases in the state.
