Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu Criticizes YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Announces Major Development Plans in Andhra Pradesh
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu launched a strong criticism against his predecessor, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, calling him a ‘psycho leader’ who caused suffering to Andhra Pradesh during his five-year rule. Naidu made these remarks at the Vanapalli Gram Sabha in the Kothapeta constituency.
Naidu emphasized his government’s commitment to the state’s development, announcing Rs 900 crore for panchayat development and an additional Rs 1,100 crore for further progress. He also mentioned initiatives to generate wealth from waste, increase daily laborers’ wages, and develop action plans for panchayat development.
Naidu promised to construct 600 houses in Kothapalli mandal, provide drinking water, build toilets, and distribute free gas cylinders. Despite the state’s debt, he assured that files for the Mega DSC for unemployed youth and the abolition of the Land Tilting Act have been signed. New passbooks with the government emblem have been printed, and 99% of pensions have been distributed.
Deputy Chief Minister Pavan Kalyan praised the government’s achievements, including creating 9 crore days of employment, building 40% of cement roads, and planning to complete all village roads in five years. Naidu announced the launch of Janmabhoomi 2.0 in January 2025 for the state’s welfare.
