Chhattisgarh Deputy CM Arun Sao Talks About Road Projects and Opposition Walkout
Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao announced that the state is benefiting from the double-engine government, with Rs 3321 crore spent on upgrading and widening 253.21 km of National Highway in 2024-25. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari for their contributions to improving road transport facilities.
Sao also shared that 18 road projects in Chhattisgarh have been approved by the Union Highway Ministry. He emphasized the creation of a single window system to streamline investment processes, which will boost industry and employment in the state.
Additionally, Sao addressed the opposition’s walkout from the Rajya Sabha, criticizing their behavior and defending the Prime Minister. He mentioned that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had ample opportunities to speak, while the opposition disrupted the Prime Minister’s speech.
