Raipur, Chhattisgarh – During a two-day Collector Conference at the New Circuit House in Raipur, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai highlighted the state’s progress and areas needing improvement. He emphasized the importance of implementing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s guarantees and urged officials to ensure transparency in government schemes.

Focus on Government Schemes

Chief Minister Sai instructed collectors to work towards achieving targets in all flagship schemes and to address public grievances with sensitivity. He stressed the need for respectful interaction between officials and the public, warning of strict action against misconduct.

Revenue Department Review

During the review of the Revenue Department, Sai expressed dissatisfaction with the slow resolution of revenue cases in certain districts. He instructed officials to resolve land-related issues promptly and to ensure that disputed cases do not remain pending for more than six months.

Housing and Cleanliness Initiatives

The Chief Minister announced the sanctioning of 8,46,931 houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and the provision of houses to 47,000 homeless families under the Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana. He also emphasized the importance of the ongoing cleanliness survey and the need for focused efforts to meet standards.

Employment and Healthcare

Sai highlighted the importance of MGNREGA for employment generation and urged officials to develop infrastructure in rural areas. He also stressed the need for effective measures to combat kidney diseases in the Supabeda region and the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri National Dialysis Program across all districts.

Education and Tribal Development

The Chief Minister expressed displeasure over delays in the distribution of bicycles under the Saraswati Cycle Scheme and stressed the need for timely distribution. He also emphasized ensuring 100% coverage of beneficiaries under the Prime Minister’s Jan Man Yojana and improving conditions in hostels and ashrams.

Women and Child Development

Sai described the Maternity Vandan Yojana as a flagship scheme and emphasized the goal of eradicating malnutrition in the state. He directed officials to accelerate the implementation of the PM Matru Vandan Yojana.

The conference was attended by Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Additional Chief Secretary Manoj Pingua, and other senior officials.
