Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Deo Sai Supports PM Modi’s ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ Campaign
Raipur (Chhattisgarh) [India], June 30: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has expressed his support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign. This initiative encourages citizens to plant a tree in honor of their mothers.
CM Sai’s Appeal
CM Sai emphasized the importance of the campaign, stating, “Everyone should plant a tree in the name of their mother. If the mother is alive, she should be taken along to plant a tree. If she has passed away, then a tree should be planted, keeping her picture nearby. If every citizen joins this initiative, there will be an environmental revolution.” He urged the people of Chhattisgarh to participate in this initiative.
PM Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’
Prime Minister Modi, during his 111th episode of the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program, spoke about the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign, which was launched on World Environment Day, June 5. He highlighted the significance of the mother-child relationship and encouraged everyone to plant a tree in their mother’s name. PM Modi shared, “I have also planted a tree in the name of my mother.”
He expressed his happiness over the campaign’s progress and appealed to people worldwide to join the initiative, celebrating both motherhood and the environment.
