Raipur (Chhattisgarh) [India], August 20: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai celebrated Raksha Bandhan at his residence on Monday. During the celebration, CM Sai expressed his happiness and extended greetings to the people of Chhattisgarh.

CM Sai said, “My greetings to all the people of Chhattisgarh, on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. I don’t have a real sister, those men who don’t have their sisters wish they had sisters. Today I am very happy, so many sisters came here today and tied Rakhi to me.”

Earlier, the Chief Minister offered prayers at Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. He stated, “We prayed to Baba Mahakal for the peace and prosperity of Chhattisgarh, to maintain brotherhood and that everyone works towards development together.”

Raksha Bandhan is a traditional Hindu festival deeply rooted in Indian culture and has been celebrated for centuries. It symbolizes the bond between brothers and sisters. On this day, sisters tie the rakhi around their brothers’ wrists for protection, and in return, brothers offer gifts as a symbol of love and care for their sisters.
