Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Deo Sai and Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav Visit Mahakaleshwar Temple on Raksha Bandhan
Ujjain (Chhattisgarh) [India], August 19: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai visited the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain on the last Monday of the holy month of Savan, which coincided with the celebration of Raksha Bandhan.
Chief Minister Sai said, “Today is the last day of Savan. It is Raksha Bandhan as well. We have come here to Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain to offer prayers.”
He prayed for the well-being of the people of Chhattisgarh, stating, “We prayed to Baba Mahakal for the peace and prosperity of Chhattisgarh, to maintain brotherhood and that everyone works towards development together.”
The Mahakaleshwar Temple is a significant religious site for devotees of Lord Shiva and is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. The temple attracts many devotees, especially during the Savan month.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav was also present in Ujjain, and the two chief ministers had a courtesy meeting.
