Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Deo Sai Praises Union Budget 2024 for State’s Development
Raipur (Chhattisgarh) [India], July 23: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai appreciated the Union Budget 2024 presented in the parliament, calling it an important step for the overall development of the state. The CM shared his thoughts in a series of posts on the official X handle of the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).
CM Sai stated, “Union budget 2024 is an important step for the overall development of Chhattisgarh. Poor families of Chhattisgarh will get food security. Farmers of Chhattisgarh will get financial security and necessary resources. This budget is an important step towards empowerment of women.”
He also mentioned that the budget would improve Chhattisgarh’s education and health sectors. Regarding infrastructure and urban development, CM Sai said the schemes would accelerate the state’s development. He highlighted a special scheme for tribal communities, the Pradhan Mantri Janjatiya Unnat Gram Abhiyan, as crucial for their development.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the first Union Budget of the Modi 3.0 government and her seventh consecutive one during the Monsoon Session of Parliament. She outlined nine key priorities aimed at fostering economic growth and creating ample opportunities, including productivity and resilience in agriculture, employment and skilling, inclusive human resource development and social justice, manufacturing and services, urban development, energy security, infrastructure, innovation, research and development, and next-generation reforms.
The budget session of Parliament began on July 22 and will end on August 12.
