Raipur (Chhattisgarh), July 30: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai bid farewell to former Chhattisgarh Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan in Mana on Tuesday. Sai praised Harichandan’s leadership, stating that the state developed in many sectors under his guidance. Harichandan assured that he would maintain his relations with the people of Chhattisgarh.

The farewell ceremony was held at the State Hangar in Mana, after which Harichandan left for Bhubaneswar. Ramen Deka, a former Lok Sabha member from Assam and former BJP national secretary, was welcomed as the new Governor of Chhattisgarh. Sai expressed optimism about the state’s future under Deka’s guidance.

On July 27, President Droupadi Murmu named new governors for ten states, including Chhattisgarh.
