Chandrashekhar Azad, Chief of Aazad Samaj Party (Kanshiram), has criticized the current and previous governments for the poor civic conditions in Ambala, Haryana. He stated that if it rains continuously, people won’t be able to venture out due to the bad situation.

Azad expressed his disappointment after visiting Ambala, saying, “After seeing the whole Ambala today, I feel ashamed of the government that has been in power for the last 10 years, I feel ashamed of the previous governments as well. It looks like we are roaming in a city of water, the situation is that bad though it rained only for a few hours. If it rains continuously, the people won’t be able to venture out…time has come to deliver justice to these people.”

He also expressed confidence that Parul Nagpal, the alliance candidate for the seat, will win in the upcoming Haryana assembly polls. The Aazad Samaj Party has joined hands with Dushyant Chautala-led Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) for the Haryana polls.

Various political parties have intensified their campaigning for the assembly polls scheduled to take place on October 5. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also campaigned in Assandh, Karnal, targeting the state and central governments over issues faced by the youth.

Polling in Haryana will be held on October 5, and the results will be announced on October 8.
