Chandrababu Naidu to Attend Tirumala’s Brahmotsavam Festival
The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu, is set to visit Tirumala on Friday to participate in the grand Brahmotsavam festival. He will offer Pattu vastras on behalf of the State government, as announced by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) officials.
Festival Details
The festival will take place from October 4 to October 12, featuring daily processions known as Vahana Sevas. A significant event, the Garuda Vahana Seva, is scheduled for October 8, expecting around 3.5 lakh devotees.
Arrangements for Devotees
TTD has made extensive arrangements to ensure a smooth experience for the devotees. Facilities include food, water, milk for children, and accommodation. Cleanliness is a priority, and medical services will be available with 40 doctors and 70 paramedical staff on duty.
Security and Transportation
Security will be tight with 1,250 TTD vigilance staff and 3,800 police personnel, including 1,200 additional officers on Garuda Vahana Seva day. Monitoring will be supported by 2,900 CCTV cameras. Public transportation is arranged with APSRTC providing 100-400 buses making 2,000 trips daily, increasing to 3,000 trips on Garuda Vahana Seva day. Parking for 4,000 vehicles is also arranged.
Special Services
VIP services are limited, and only those attending the seva without referrals will be allowed. TTD will distribute 1.32 lakh Senior Citizen Darshan tokens and 24,000 Sarva Darshanam tokens daily. A buffer stock of 7 lakh laddus will be available, with 65 counters for distribution. Accommodation facilities can serve around 60,000 devotees.
