Chandrababu Naidu Discusses Growth Plans with Tata Group in Andhra Pradesh
Amaravathi, Andhra Pradesh – The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu, emphasized the importance of the Tata Group in the state’s development. In a meeting with Tata Group’s Executive Chairman, Chandrasekharan, Naidu highlighted the legacy of the late Ratan Tata, praising his contributions to India’s industrial landscape.
Naidu announced that Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) plans to establish a new IT Development Centre in Visakhapatnam, potentially creating 10,000 jobs. Additionally, Indian Hotels is considering opening 20 new hotels across the state, including brands like Taj and Vivanta, along with a large convention center to boost tourism and industry.
Tata Power is exploring the possibility of setting up solar and wind plants with a capacity of over five gigawatts, involving an investment of Rs 40,000 crore. The Ratan Tata Innovation Hub aims to mentor entrepreneurs in Andhra Pradesh, supporting the ‘One Family-One Entrepreneur’ vision.
Naidu expressed confidence that these initiatives will significantly contribute to the state’s growth and development.
