Champai Soren Predicts BJP Victory in Upcoming Jharkhand Elections at Maha Parivartan Rally

Former Jharkhand Chief Minister and BJP leader Champai Soren expressed confidence that the BJP will win the upcoming Jharkhand elections and form the government. He made this statement during the Maha Parivartan rally.

The rally, which was flagged off by Amit Shah in Sahibganj district on September 20, saw the presence of Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Jharkhand BJP chief Babulal Marandi, and former CM Champai Soren.

Champai Soren criticized the Hemant Soren-led government for allegedly withdrawing his security, stating, “It is up to them, now the public will protect us.”

Former Union Minister and BJP leader Arjun Munda mentioned the significant public support for the Parivartan Rath in Saraikela, highlighting the public’s dissatisfaction with the current government. He said, “The government has disappointed the people of Jharkhand. Through this Parivartan Yatra, we are giving the message that the youth, women, and citizens here have been cheated.”

The term of the Jharkhand State Assembly is set to expire on January 5, 2025, with elections scheduled for 81 constituencies across the state. The Election Commission of India is yet to announce the dates.
