CBSE Conducts Surprise Inspections in Rajasthan and Delhi Schools
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) carried out surprise inspections in 27 schools across Rajasthan and Delhi on Tuesday. This initiative aimed to address the issue of ‘dummy schools’ and ensure that schools follow CBSE norms and by-laws.
Each inspection team consisted of a CBSE officer and a principal from a CBSE-affiliated school. The inspections were planned to occur simultaneously to maintain an element of surprise, ensuring that the information gathered reflects the schools’ everyday operations and compliance.
CBSE stated that the findings from these inspections would be reviewed comprehensively, and appropriate actions would be taken in cases of non-compliance. The Board emphasized its dedication to maintaining high standards in education and announced that it would continue to conduct surprise inspections to ensure affiliated schools uphold the quality and standards expected by CBSE.
