The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested Dr. Ehsaan Ul Haq and Imtiaz Alam, who were the principal and vice principal of Oasis School in Hazaribagh, Jharkhand. They were involved in the NEET-UG paper leak case.

Earlier, the CBI had arrested two individuals from Patna, Bihar, named Manish Prakash and Ashutosh, for their roles in the same case. Manish transported students to a school for exam preparation, while Ashutosh provided safe house premises for them.

The National Testing Agency (NTA), responsible for conducting the NEET-UG exam, is under scrutiny for alleged irregularities. This has led to protests and legal challenges, with the Supreme Court seeking a response from the NTA by July 8.

President Droupadi Murmu emphasized the government’s commitment to a fair investigation and stringent punishment for those found guilty. The NEET-UG exam is crucial for admissions into medical and related courses across India.
