CBI Arrests DUSIB Legal Officer for Bribery

On November 4, a complaint was filed against Maggo, a private individual named Satish, and other unknown persons. It was alleged that Maggo demanded a bribe of Rs 40 lakh to unseal two shops and allow their operation without hindrance. The CBI set a trap and caught Maggo red-handed on November 7 while accepting Rs 5 lakh from the complainant.
Search and Recovery
Following the arrest, the CBI searched Maggo’s residence and found Rs 3.79 crore in cash along with property documents. The investigation into the matter is still ongoing.
