Cancer Medicine Shipment Triggers Alarm at Lucknow Airport
A shipment containing medicines for cancer patients activated an alarm for radioactive material in the cargo area of the Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow.
The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) was called in to investigate the cause of the alarm. After thorough examination, the NDRF declared the shipment safe.
According to a release signed by the Chief Operating Officer of the airport, there were no casualties or injuries, and the airport operations were not impacted. The Adani Group, which operates the airport, confirmed that everything is running smoothly.
