Details of the Incident

The bus was traveling from Bageshwar to Haldwani when it overturned near Chausali Almora. The SDRF was informed by the district control room (DCR) Almora about the accident. An SDRF team, led by SI Pankaj Dangwal, immediately left for the spot with necessary rescue equipment.

Rescue Operation

The SDRF team provided first aid to the six injured passengers and transported them to the Primary Health Center Suyalbadi by ambulance. The bus, identified as KMOU bus (vehicle number UK04PA1011), lost control due to the breakage of a spring pin.
