Bus Collision in Reasi Injures Pilgrims Traveling from Katra to Shivkhori
In Reasi, Jammu and Kashmir, a collision between two buses resulted in several injuries among pilgrims on Wednesday. The bus was en route from Katra, Vaishno Devi to Shivkhori. Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Paul Mahajan confirmed that the injured have been transported to the hospital. He stated, “The bus was going from Katra to Shivkhori. Some people have been injured and have been taken to the hospital in SHO vehicle and ambulance. The injuries are minor in nature. The SHO has been instructed to take strict action in the matter as the passengers are scared.”
A pilgrim reported that there were 40 people on the bus, including children, and 15 to 20 people sustained injuries. The accident was attributed to the negligence of the other vehicle’s driver, with 15 people suffering serious injuries. Deputy Commissioner Mahajan has ordered a crane to clear the accident site.
