Bus Accident in Jammu and Kashmir: 2 Dead, 4 Critically Injured
In Jammu and Kashmir, a tragic bus accident occurred when a bus traveling from Bhalessa to Thathri skidded off the road and plunged into a 200-foot-deep gorge. The accident resulted in the deaths of two people and left four others critically injured.
According to officials, a total of nine people have been admitted to Government Medical College (GMC) Doda for treatment. The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation, but it is believed that a malfunction in the bus may have been the reason.
Deputy Commissioner Harvinder Singh stated, “Two people were killed in the accident. Four were critically injured and five others were referred to the hospital. We have referred a total of nine people to the GMC, Doda. The reason for the accident seems to be a malfunction in the bus.”
He added, “The driver tried his best to avoid the accident. We appreciate his efforts. However, we lost two lives in the accident. A total of 26 people were injured, including 2 children. We have referred serious patients to GMC Doda.”
