BSF Stops Pakistani Intruder at Amritsar Border
The Border Security Force (BSF) in Amritsar, Punjab, successfully stopped a Pakistani intruder on September 16, 2024. The incident occurred around 09:13 pm when the intruder crossed the international boundary and approached the border near Ratankhurd village.
According to the BSF, the intruder took advantage of the darkness to move towards the border fence. Despite being challenged by the BSF troops, he continued to advance and showed aggressive behavior. The troops then fired at him, neutralizing the threat on the spot.
The BSF recovered Rs 270 in Pakistani currency in various denominations, including a half-torn 10 Rupees note, from the intruder. The body of the intruder has been handed over to the Gharinda police station for further action.
