BSF Stops Pakistani Drone in Punjab’s Fazilka, Finds Weapons
The Border Security Force (BSF) troops intercepted a Pakistani drone in the Fazilka district of Punjab on Saturday. The troops fired at the drone and used technical measures to neutralize it. A search operation led to the recovery of the drone and a packet containing three pistols and seven empty magazines. The drone was identified as a China-made DJI Matrice 300 RTK.
This incident took place in a farming field near the village of Maharsona in Fazilka. The BSF’s actions demonstrate their dedication to maintaining the security of India’s borders.
Earlier, on July 11, the BSF recovered a pistol and a small amount of heroin in the Tarn Taran district of Punjab. Based on specific intelligence, BSF troops and Punjab Police conducted a search operation and found a pistol body and an empty magazine wrapped in yellow tape.
