BSF Stops Intruders in Jammu and Punjab, Recovers Weapons
The Border Security Force (BSF) has successfully stopped an infiltration attempt along the international border in the RS Pura sector of Jammu. The vigilant BSF troops noticed suspicious movement during the night of September 21-22, 2024, and thwarted the attempt. They recovered an AK 47 rifle, two pistols, and magazines.
Earlier, on September 16, BSF foiled another infiltration attempt in the Amritsar district of Punjab. A Pakistani intruder crossed the international boundary near Ratankhurd village at night. Despite warnings, the intruder continued to move towards the border fence, leading to security forces firing at him. The intruder was killed, and BSF recovered Pakistani currency from him.
