BSF Recovers Pakistani Drone and Heroin in Punjab

The Border Security Force (BSF) in Punjab, India, successfully recovered a drone from Pakistan and over 420 grams of heroin in two separate incidents. These events took place in the border districts of Pathankot and Tarn Taran.

Drone Recovery in Pathankot

BSF troops, acting on intelligence, found a China-made DJI Mavic 3 drone at around 4:40 pm in a sugarcane field near the village of Akhwara in Pathankot district.

Heroin Seizure in Tarn Taran

Earlier, at about 2:25 pm, BSF troops discovered a packet of suspected heroin weighing 426 grams in a harvested field near the village of Wan Tara Singh in Tarn Taran district. The narcotics were wrapped in yellow adhesive tape with a copper wire loop attached.

These recoveries underscore the BSF’s commitment to maintaining security along the border.
