BSF Recovers Heroin in Amritsar and Tarn Taran, Punjab
The Border Security Force (BSF) made significant recoveries of suspected heroin in Punjab. On Monday, approximately 560 grams of heroin were found in a plastic container in Ratankhurd village, Amritsar district. The container, wrapped in yellow tape, was discovered during border security operations.
In a related incident on Saturday, the BSF and Punjab Police recovered a 568-gram packet of heroin in Dal village, Tarn Taran district. This operation was based on intelligence about narcotics in the area. The packet was wrapped in yellow and white tape with a metal wire loop.
Earlier, on Friday, a joint operation by the BSF and Punjab Police led to the recovery of a 550-gram heroin packet near Daoke village, Amritsar. The packet was wrapped in yellow and blue tape, with a steel ring and mini torch attached.
