BSF Recovers China-Made Drone and Suspected Heroin in Amritsar
The Border Security Force (BSF) recently recovered a China-made drone from a farming field near Village Bharopal in Amritsar district, Punjab. The drone was identified as a DJI Mavic 3 Classic. This recovery is part of ongoing efforts by the BSF to combat illegal activities along the border.

In a separate incident, BSF troops found another drone and a packet of suspected heroin in different locations within the Amritsar district. Acting on intelligence inputs, the BSF successfully thwarted a narco-smuggling attempt across the border.
Details of the Incident
On October 31, based on information from the BSF intelligence wing, a broken drone was found by BSF troops at around 09:15 am in a field near Dhanoe Khurd village. Additionally, at about 10:20 am, a packet of suspected heroin, weighing approximately 540 grams and wrapped in yellow adhesive tape, was recovered from a field near Dhanoe Kalan village.
The BSF emphasized that timely action and reliable intelligence were crucial in preventing these illegal activities.
