BSF Punjab Finds Drones and Heroin Near Amritsar Border
In Amritsar, Punjab, the Border Security Force (BSF) made a significant discovery near the border on Saturday. They found three drones and a large amount of heroin. The drones included two DJI Mavic 3 Classic models and one China-made DJI Air 3S. Along with the drones, a package containing 540 grams of heroin was found, wrapped in yellow tape with a copper wire loop.
The BSF shared on X that they used advanced technical countermeasures to neutralize the drones, which were suspected of being used for smuggling drugs across the border. Earlier in the month, the BSF also recovered two drones from the Dhanoe Khurd and Rattankund areas of Amritsar. These drones were believed to have been brought down by the technical measures in place at the border.
