BSF Protests Against Bangladeshi Miscreants for Abducting Jawan at Biral Border

The Border Security Force (BSF) has lodged a strong protest with the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) after Bangladeshi miscreants illegally crossed into India and abducted a BSF jawan near the Biral border in Dinajpur.

According to an official release, a group of 15 to 20 Bangladeshi miscreants forcibly took the BSF jawan into Bangladesh, where he was held in the custody of the BGB. The Inspector General of BSF North Bengal promptly contacted the Region Commander of the North West Region, BGB, demanding the immediate release of the abducted jawan.

The BSF actively worked to secure the safe return of its personnel, and the jawan was returned after a meeting between the Sector Commanders. The BSF condemned this act of aggression and lodged a formal protest against the actions of the Bangladeshi miscreants.

In a statement, the BSF emphasized the importance of maintaining peaceful relations along the border and urged the BGB to instruct its citizens to refrain from such unlawful activities. The BSF remains committed to its policy of ‘ZERO FIRING’ along the border and seeks cooperation from BGB to ensure safety and security for all.
