BSF Helps Indian Students Return from Bangladesh Amid Unrest
The Border Security Force (BSF) in Meghalaya has increased security along the India-Bangladesh border due to the current situation in Bangladesh. Inspector General Harbax Singh Dhillon emphasized the safe return of Indian students.
Since July 18, the BSF has helped 574 Indian students, 435 Nepali students, and 8 Bhutanese students enter India through the Dawki and Kilapara check posts. The BSF is providing assistance like food, water, and medical help to those crossing the border.
