BSF Finds Pakistani Drone and Heroin in Punjab

The Border Security Force (BSF) has successfully recovered a Pakistani drone and a packet of heroin in two separate search operations in Punjab.

Drone Recovery

The first recovery involved a Pakistani drone, identified as a China-made DJI Mavic 3 classic, found in the village of Wan in the Tarn Taran district.

Heroin Recovery

In the second operation, 250 grams of heroin were recovered in the village of Rorawala in the Amritsar district.

Additional Recoveries

Earlier, on July 6, 2024, BSF troops found 480 grams of suspected heroin in a farming field in the village of Wazirpur Afgana, Gurdaspur district. The narcotics were wrapped in yellow adhesive tape.

Additionally, on July 4, 2024, BSF and Punjab Police jointly recovered around 550 grams of heroin from the Amritsar border area.

These operations underscore the ongoing efforts by BSF and Punjab Police to combat illegal activities along the border.
