BSF Finds Heroin and Pistol Parts in Punjab’s Tarn Taran and Ferozepur
The Border Security Force (BSF) has recovered a pistol body, an empty magazine, and a small amount of heroin in Punjab’s Tarn Taran district on July 11, 2024. The search operation, conducted with Punjab Police, took place in a farming field near Mastgarh village.
According to an official press release, the operation began at 9:30 am based on specific intelligence from the BSF. The recovered items included a pistol body without the upper slide and barrel, an empty pistol magazine wrapped in yellow adhesive tape, and less than one gram of suspected heroin in a white polythene packet.
On the same day, BSF also recovered 570 grams of heroin from a farming field in Kilche village, Ferozepur district. This operation started at 6:15 am, also based on BSF intelligence. The recovered heroin was found in a single packet weighing 570 grams.
