BSF Finds Drones with Pistol and Heroin in Punjab’s Ferozepur and Fazilka

The Border Security Force (BSF) has recovered two China-made DJI Mavic-3 Classic drones in Punjab’s Ferozepur and Fazilka districts on June 22, 2024.

Drone in Ferozepur

In Ferozepur, the BSF intelligence wing shared information about a drone with a suspected packet in the border area. BSF troops quickly responded and found the drone in an agricultural field near the village of Lakha Singh Wala. The packet, wrapped in yellow adhesive tape, contained a pistol without a barrel and an empty magazine.

Drone in Fazilka

In Fazilka, a joint operation by the BSF and Punjab Police led to the recovery of another DJI Mavic-3 Classic drone. This drone was found in a farming field in the village of Gahlewala and carried a packet of suspected heroin weighing 520 grams. The packet was wrapped in red adhesive tape and had a metal ring with an illuminating stick attached.
