BSF and Punjab Police Recover Drone in Amritsar Village

On September 23, the Border Security Force (BSF) and Punjab Police conducted a joint operation in a farming field near Mahwa village in Amritsar district. They successfully recovered a China-made DJI Mavic 3 Classic drone.

Details of the Operation

Acting on intelligence reports, BSF troops and Punjab Police carried out an extensive search in the suspected area. At around 06:20 pm, they found the drone, which is believed to have been neutralized by BSF’s technical countermeasures.

Previous Incidents

Earlier in September, BSF and Punjab Police recovered another drone with 6.230 kg of suspected heroin in Tarn Taran district. Additionally, on September 9, BSF troops recovered 1.180 kg of suspected heroin in the border area of Amritsar district.
