BSF and Punjab Police Find China-Made Drone with Heroin in Taran Taran

In Taran Taran, Punjab, the Border Security Force (BSF) and Punjab Police conducted a search operation based on intelligence about a drone carrying narcotics. The operation took place near the village of Kalash and resulted in the recovery of a China-made DJI Mavic 3 drone and 566 grams of suspected heroin.

The heroin was wrapped in yellow adhesive tape and had a cotton thread loop and an illuminating stick attached. This is one of several recent instances where foreign-made drones have been found in Punjab’s border districts.
