The Border Security Force (BSF) of India and the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) held a Sector Commander level coordination meeting near Barsora Land Customs station in Bangladesh on Thursday.

Leaders of the Meeting

The BSF delegation was led by Manoj Kumar Barnwal, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Sector HQ BSF Shillong. The BGB delegation was led by Md Saiful Islam Chowdhury, Deputy Director General and Sector Commander of BGB Sylhet, Bangladesh.

Discussion Points

During the meeting, the commanders discussed various border-related issues, including the Coordinated Border Management Plan and other matters of mutual interest.

Outcomes

Both sides expressed satisfaction with the meaningful and cordial discussions, reflecting the friendly bilateral relationships between the two countries.
