BSF ADG Satish S Khandare Visits Jammu Frontier
Satish S Khandare, the Additional Director General of the Border Security Force (BSF) Western Command, began a three-day visit to the BSF Jammu Frontier. He was welcomed by BSF Inspector General DK Boora and other senior officers. During his visit, he met with Manoj Sinha, the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir.
Border Security Briefing
The Inspector General of BSF provided a detailed presentation to ADG Khandare, focusing on the critical aspects of border security and control along the International Border (IB) in Jammu. ADG Khandare also visited the Kathua and Samba border areas, where he was briefed on operational aspects by the Sector Commander and Battalion Commandants.
Visit to Line of Control
On November 13, 2024, ADG Khandare visited the Line of Control (LC) and interacted with the troops. He praised them for their dedication and professionalism in performing their duties.
Bharat Darshan Tour
ADG Khandare flagged off the Bharat Darshan Tour for 34 school children from the bordering villages of Poonch and Rajouri in Jammu and Kashmir. This tour aims to provide educational exposure to the children.
