BRS Jagtial MLA Sanjay Kumar Joins Congress

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLA from Jagtial, Sanjay Kumar, joined the Congress party at Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s residence in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. The TPCC chief and Chief Minister, A Revanth Reddy, welcomed Sanjay Kumar into the Congress.

Earlier on June 21, BRS leader Pocharam Srinivas Reddy and his son, Bhaskar Reddy, also joined the Congress party. The Telangana Congress shared on social media that the chief minister and TPCC president Revanth Reddy invited them into the party by wearing a scarf.

The BRS was in power in the state until the end of 2023 under the leadership of K Chandrashekhar Rao. Congress won the assembly polls in Telangana last year, leading to the formation of the new Revanth Reddy government under Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s leadership.
